About the Speaker:
Mr. Edward CHAN is the President of Rotary Club of SoHo Hong Kong 2014-2015. He has joint the big family of “Rotary” since 2012 and he is a Charter Member.
Edward also actively takes part in Hong Kong Junior Chamber activities and mentorship program for university students and cooperates with different NGOs such as Hong Kong Society for the Deaf Special Child Care Centre, The Hong Kong Society for the Deaf and The Hong Kong Society for the Blind to co-organize events to help the disabilities in looking for job opportunities in the community.
As a founder of “Quality Peoples Resources Limited”, he has more than ten years of experience in recruitment, training & development programs. He realizes teenagers are the future of tomorrow. The earliest to let the teenagers as well as DSE (Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination) students to know the careers in real life, the earliest to help them to pave the way in particular careers. Therefore, he designs careers survey & questionnaire research for all DSE students yearly in order to take the initiative to alert the market about the forth-coming labor marketing trend.
Through this platform, we can know more about the distribution of labor workforce as well as the tendency of the DSE students in selecting their careers. It may help us to understand more about our environment from different point of views.
