About Amber Medical
AMBER Medical was established in 2022 to cope with the increasing demand for local medical escorts and aims to provide point-to-point, all-round and efficient medical escort services. AMBER is a non-emergency ambulance licensed by the government. Founder and Executive Director of Amber Medical - Dr. Chris WONG
Dr. WONG Lei-Po Chris is the founder and executive director of AMBER Medical. Dr. Wong has held a number of public positions, including participating in the affairs of the Medical Laboratory Technologists Board, serving as a member of the Continuing Professional Development Accreditation Advisory Committee, a working group and task force member of the Accreditation Advisory Board of the Hong Kong Accreditation Service of The Innovation and Technology Commission, and Chairman of the Hong Kong Advisory Committee of the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Dr. Wong was awarded the Chief Executive's Commendation for Community Service in 2022 in recognition of his commitment and contribution to society during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was awarded a doctorate in clinical microbiology by the University of Hong Kong in 2003. Dr. Wong's work spans various areas of healthcare services, including clinical research, medical education, epidemiology, molecular genetics, medical devices and teaching.
