About the Speaker :
Dr WONG Cheuk Chung John is a respected specialist in general surgery in Hong Kong, with a particular focus on colorectal surgery. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong and honed his surgical skills at several major hospitals, including Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, Kwong Wah Hospital, and Queen Mary Hospital, where he received comprehensive training in general surgery.
After obtaining his specialist qualifications, Dr Wong developed a keen interest and expertise in the management of colorectal diseases. He is highly experienced in performing endoscopies such as OGD and colonoscopy, as well as minimally invasive surgeries for various colorectal conditions. His clinical work includes both the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer and benign colorectal disorders, making him a trusted figure for patients seeking advanced care in this field.
Dr Wong is also actively involved in Hong Kong’s Colorectal Cancer Screening Programme, which provides subsidized screening for residents aged 50 to 75.
