About the Speaker :
Ms. Shirley PU spent three years living in Russia and received ballet training at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. It was an once-in-a-lifetime experience for her to leave her comfort zone in Hong Kong to go to a completely different place to live a different life. Graduated from the Bolshoi Ballet Academy with a professional diploma, she continued her education at the University of Edinburgh for a Master of Art in Russian Studies and History of Art and has completed a dissertation about the political aspect of ballet during the Soviet Russia.
